A canoe and camping trip down the remote Allagash River has been a classic wilderness adventure since Thoreau paddled it in the 1800s.

The entire trip Allagash Wliderness Waterway canoe trip will take 7 to 10 days.  If a weekend canoe trip is more your style, no problem... there are many starting points along the river. A great weekend trip would be to put in at Michaud Farm, paddle down to Allagash Falls and camp for the night, and float downstream back to Tylor Kellys Camp and Guide Service the next day.  The whole trip is only 13 river miles and a good option for beginners or those who want to experience the Allagash River but don't have the time to canoe the whole river.  While you're on the river, we can shuttle your car back to camp where it will be waiting for you.  Give us a call!

Tylor Kellys Camps and Guide Service is convieniently located at the confluence of the St John and Allagash rivers. We can help you plan your trip to experience the pristine Allagash Wilderness Waterway  We can shuttle you or your vehicle, rent gear,  canoes,  provide free parking and a canoe landing area.  Tylor Kellys Camps has tenting areas and cabin rentals available.  We also have the only resturant in town for that big breakfast before you go or that long awaited bacon cheeseburger and fries after you get off the river.
